Trotting mare Surfin Sunsation (Sundon/ Minuetto) got the new season off to a good start with a nice early colt by En Solitaire. Born on 18th September he was the first standardbred of the season to be born at Macca Lodge where the Stivens take their mares for foaling. The 7 year old unraced stallion En Solitaire stands at Macca Lodge and John is very pleased to have access to this son of Ready Cash who he says is the most sought-after stallion in Europe. Stud master Brent McIntyre reports that En Solitaire has left well-conformed horses with good manners.
