From Arden's Wish to Bettor's Strike -where is he now?

Sixteen years ago Arden's Wish was born to Broodmare Excellence Award winner Winter Rose. One of the first crop of eleven Bettor's Delight youngsters born in New Zealand he was registered as Arden's Wish and then sold at the National Yearling Sales to Dr Susan and Jim Wakefield who changed his name to Bettor's Strike. The Wakefields had sold the dam to the late Noreen Stiven. The story is one of a successful racing career followed by a wonderful story of Rachel Sharr and her 'forever horse'.

Winter Rose (In The Pocket-Bella Chip) is the mother of six colts and eight fillies. Arden Lodge has raced and retained Southwind Arden, Rocknroll Arden and Arden's Choice as broodmares. As a 22 year old she is in great health.

This season Winter Rose has a foal by Downbytheseaside - he is a handsome colt.
